12th August 2024 – ARDE/KUBAHO staff gathered to bid a heartfelt farewell to Alba, a dedicated Medicus Mundi staff member, who has been an integral part of their team for the past year. Alba has been a driving force behind several impactful projects and initiatives during her tenure, working closely with ARDE/KUBAHO to improve the lives of women and communities in Rwanda.

In his remarks, ARDE/KUBAHO President Paul Murenzi expressed deep gratitude for Alba’s contributions. “We greatly appreciate the immense work that Alba has executed and we praise her ability to connect with people,” he said. “This is not the end of our cherished friendship; it will continue even from overseas.”

As Alba departs for Spain, she leaves behind a legacy of commitment and compassion. Her role will be taken over by her mentor, Ana, who will continue to represent Medicus Mundi and collaborate with ARDE/KUBAHO. Ana’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the projects will ensure a seamless transition and continued success in their joint efforts.
Medicus Mundi and ARDE/KUBAHO have enjoyed a partnership spanning over a decade, during which they have implemented numerous projects from enhancing the livelihoods of women cooperatives in Kamonyi to improving the lives of cross-border women traders from Rubavu, Rwanda, and Goma, DRC.
