Smartphones Distributed to Community Leaders as Mugina WASH Project Phase II Progresses

Kamonyi District, Rwanda – July 9, 2025

On July 9 2025, the leaders of Water User Committees and hygiene clubs in Mugina Sector received smartphones aimed at improving the reporting and monitoring of water, sanitation, and hygiene activities under the Mugina WASH Project.

The smartphones will enable these community leaders to efficiently share information about their ongoing activities, challenges encountered in the field, and the overall progress of project interventions. This move is expected to enhance communication and quick response to emerging issues within the communities.
