This Monday 16th,March 2026 marked an important milestone in strengthening women’s economic empowerment in Kamonyi District with the official opening of IBIRAMBYE SHOP, a joint store created to support cooperative members in accessing markets and selling their products collectively.
The opening ceremony brought together members from four partner women cooperatives, local authorities from Kamonyi District, and representatives from ARDE/KUBAHO and UGAMA.
This initiative provides a shared space where cooperative members can showcase and sell their products, strengthening their economic resilience and improving market access. IBIRAMBYE SHOP represents more than just a store.
It is a platform for collaboration, empowerment, and sustainable community development. We look forward to seeing this initiative grow and continue supporting women entrepreneurs in Kamonyi.
